In the past, individuals have been known to take boats out on which they didn't actually have a rating. Hey, if you're a good sailor, why not grab a J-boat, or maybe even a T-10? Who will ever be the wiser? (unless they're on board with you.) We'll all be awash in alcohol well before midnight, so if you can still walk, as in walk down to the lakefront and operate a motorboat or a winch, then the fleet is your oyster!
Note that we in the syndicate do not recommend or condone such unruly behavior, but it has become something of a tradition for the close of C-Cup! Heck, if nothing else, just get yourself out to one of the keelboats and go for a swim. Be sure to snag an extra bottle of wine for that. It's only against the rules to drink on Hoofers boats if you're actually sailing!

Yep, no one wants to talk about this. Ever. One day DEI will kick over the rock known as Hoofer's and uncover the legacy of institutional bias that excludes African-Americans.
This site is just another Social Media Troll Farm. One or two people stirring the pot to divide the masses. But to what end?

Here's where the topic flatlines. I mean, not even a cricket chirps. It will take UW's DEI to step in and takes corrective action.
Is Daniel Sutton around this summer or has he fled Madison? I for one would like to ask him why he started slandering people and making false police reports. Did he lose his integrity after becoming a Hoofer Sailing instructor? Maybe he was corrupted by the presence of attractive young women on his lessons, women he couldn't possibly have. Only he can answer that. Slander and false allegations, Sutton's trade, are often done to divert attention from one's own malfeasance.
ReplyDeleteSutton is gone. There were complaints by young women about him but you will never see them cuz they r kept secret to protect crooked state employees. Same with JR.
