Don't forget: when Chris was originally hired as an instructor, the board had serious misgivings about doing so because of his track record for safety. Apparently several people had been boomed while sailing with him. Sadly, the Hoofer (and Chris') attitude towards safety hasn't changed much since then.

ReplyDeleteSafety is only an issue when the applicant is someone who isn't popular. Then they will use it as an excuse not to hire the person.
ReplyDeleteAre there any records of those misgivings about Frye, e.g. BOC minutes, or emails, or..?
